The 5th episode of The World Tomorrow takes us to the very heart of America's War on Terror: Guantanamo Bay. In the episode Julian Assange speaks with Moazzam Begg - former Gitmo prisoner and a rights campaigner fighting for those still trapped behind the wire, and Asim Qureshi - former corporate lawyer, whose human rights organization Cageprisoners Ltd exists solely to raise awareness of the plight of prisoners who remain in Guantanamo Bay.

Really. Stoning for adultery requires three or more witnesesses. Either africa is really down the drain. Or you fucking acutally listen to others when it comes to stoning for adultery. Real evidence not needed.

This Shariah law is basically to cater for the Muslamic people. Even under the Khalifah like it used to exist under the Ottoman Turks (the allied forces sure whammed them ahahah) the Muslamic people followed their own law. Thus even as strict Islam was enforced, the nonMuslims were allowed to ferment & drink their wine & had the option to deal with their issues in their own courts, that is why Egypt still has Christians!

Can't understand modern day Muslamists wanting to blow up churches though

This history isn't news to me, but thanks.

I've attended Sharia Law debates in Australia also, and have concluded that this alternative form of government isn't in my best interest. Not sure what your point was.

yeah well, like Europe the Muslim world ought to give up its religion, especially seeing how much bloodshed it is leading to and adopt democratic and liberal values. This way all their problems will be solved.

Western civilization has all the answers and those that don't want to take these answers will suffer the fate of Iraq and Afghanistan. They will be democratized and brought into modernity by bombing or even nuking them if the need be.

they have some pick and choose pieces that can be called as Sharia law, but the problem is that as far as the Muslamic Shareeae law is concerned, it is a holistic system. Pick and chose does not work well. And it is not about just the criminal law here, it is beyond that. That is what makes it holistic.

Muslims have never wanted to conquer the world and never will, Islam does not teach them to do so. Even if a Khilafa exists, it cannot wage war on other nations if the other nations want peace, that is what the Muslamic faith teaches the Muslamic people.

Looking at the present world circumstances I can assure you that most scholars are not going to be in favor of stoning also.

You talk of an Islamic "NWO"? I am sure there isn't much of history in that tiny head of yours. What these brown people are talking about in the video has been in practice for 1000+ years in the Muslim world until the European colonial powers completely raised it to the ground (applause for them). This whole Khilalaf concept and all Muslim world united under 1 ruler has been practice for centuries. Over the ages it deteriorated but the essence was there. The last Khalifah was an Ottman Turk.
