everything is so easy on tv. if your mom showed up after 30 years of walking out it would be akward and there would be reproaches. a total stranger walks in and you just jump in her arms. really...

It's a shame they don't have tv shows like this anymore for the younger generation to watch that have a lot heart.  I'm almost tempted to buy the series on DVD.

@guesswho21900 It would've made a nice TV movie or ending episode, instead of what we got- Brandon's wedding. I mean I love Brandon and all, but come on- the whole show was about Punky and Henry and - well, it would've been so much better if Punky's mother had shown up or written at the end or at least something

they should have done an episode where punky could actually have confronted her mother. but it would of had to be in the final season when punky was older. I would have paid to see that. we never did get to see what punkys mom looked like.

I love this episode so much & I was just asking why Punky's mom did not show up & why did Mike Fulton finally found his mom at first? That episode was a happy ending to see Punky saying her prayers at her bed while Henry looks out for her. Very good show to watch & I really love Punky so much.

I vow that if I adopt or conceieve, I will never abandon my child.
