I'm in Sydney, found you on the Net. I think its great what you did, thank you for teaching my wife, my daughter and myself how to play that :)

Also dont worry about the tin whistle snobs,
14,190 others out there love it. The 4 or 5 virtuoso tin whistle critics,probably use their ass to play anyway, because they like blowing a lot of hot air.

Don't quit. Practice makes perfect. We all sounded horrible when we were starting out. I'll bet that, even today, you're already better at it! BTW, nice whistle.
