30 of the hottest tuned performance cars in Australia were assembled to find out who builds the best performance cars. The combined output of the entrants was 7873kw with the total cost of $4.1million. The 30 entrants were split between three categories; under $75k, $75k - $150k and $150k+. Our two entries fell into the under $75k category that was separated again into European, Japanese and Australian vehicles.

The Harrop XR8 included modifications comprising a HTV2300 Supercharger Kit, Ultimate Brake Kit, Truetrac Differential and Engine Oil-Cooler.

my holden astra does the quarter mile in 1 second, why would you do exhaust and cams on ur BA when you could get an astra - THE GODZILLA KILLA!

You don't want to put 4.11 in a zf 6 speed auto, 3.23 is the shortest you want to use as the ratios are completely different to a t56 manual.

@1phatxr6t Im ran 12.4@115 on 11psi with stock exhaust :) cooler, dump pipe/cat under battery pipe and injectors with typhoon airbox. 3 grand. It usually runs 15psi with 320rwkw and 11's

my ba xr6t ran best of 12.2 with flash tune 15psi, exhaust,front mount ,cold air intake, 4sp auto!

modds cost bout 3grand!!.

otacon9799 the bit you are missing is that this car runs a 2.7 rear end - wack 4.11's in it and it will dip into the 11's no problem at all - you only need 400-450rwhp and a dedicated setup to get into the 10's but it's a mongrel dailey driver.

pathetic! my ba xr8 na with exhaust, intake, cams, tune plus 4.1.1s an trutrac, 6 spd manual and 19 in street tyres does 12.7 @110 with 1.9 60ft, why spend thirteen grand on a blower for such a tiny gain. me thinks you need a new tuner or at best a new driver, but how hard can a auto be?
