i was young no self esteem at all my parents treated me like the baggage of their bad marrage. After the divorce we moved around totaly neglected by my mom never having time to make a friend I spent many a nights looking for validation in the back seat of a guys car , and at that moment i felt loved even if deep down i knew it was not true. beyond painful

@Notawesomeatall7 A lot of people aren't really who they portray - they're insecure and so they close themselves off to the rest of the world and pretend to be this ideal person in case they get laughed at or judged. Someone capable of removing that mask - i.e. someone who is open and who is secure in who they are - presents a threat. The challenge is to find another person like that who is also compatible - a lot of us are still looking.
