She does rollkur...everybody knows that. It is her training method. What a shame, she could be a great rider. BTW so what that she won 8 times world cup? She can look perfect in the arena, everybody can, the important thing is how u reach that and if that way is rollkur i dont think that she shlould win anything at all. But these days noone rides dressage well - it used to be different 15 years ago. Horses used to dance...

@HowLong08 How does she hurt her horses? I don't see any vet or animal cops going after her! Her horses would still perform well even WITHOUT a noseband! And the noseband is not tight! If it was tight, the horse would not be able to breathe properly! She is the world's top dressage rider, and frankly the BEST! Her horses are happy and willing, they always give her 110%!!!

@Dressage34 you're so naive. i think you have to do some research. it's proven by experts and vets, that hyperflexion, LDR, rollkur, whatever you say, is cruel for the horses. they don't step under the balancepoint in the piaffe, their muscles are uptight and not nice and loose. when she wants to stretch her horses, she has to give him a long rein

I think you need to do a little research. Anky and her husband had scientists come in and examine their methods. They do not hurt the horses, merely stretch them and make their job easier. Bonfire, Salinero and now Painted Black all clearly enjoy Anky's presence and work hard for her. A horse being constantly hurt or improperly trained would never reach the level of perfection Anky has achieved.

She's not a good rider... She hurts her horses! Is that amazing? I don't think so. If you've seen her riding Reining you've seen what HER Horses would do without a tight strapped noseband! :(

hmmm, methinks doth protest too much. A horse wouldn't do this if he didn't enjoy his job. She's gotten the world cup more than 8 times, that's amazing, I don't know what your sources are, but they're wrong. She's an excellent rider, and it was an honor and a privilege to see her in person.
