  • Luckily the song got better.

  • @TheNZNick The entire first side of Born in the USA was written & recorded in his living room with the songs that became the Nebraska album. This sounds pretty good to me, although yeah, I think I, & most people, would prefer the full band version on the BitUSA album, & that he plays live, at least partly because we're familiar with it.

His albums are so good, in part, because he comes in with a basic song, & tries so many different presentations. BtR & Darkness each took a year to record.

  • this is going to seem like a stupid question but there's a Bruce Springsteen song and all i can remember about it was one of the lyrics was something about poking a dog with a stick than something about a highway can anyone help?

  • thank god it got lost...

  • Is this the older original version? The song did get a LOT better!
