Rather low-quality recording of me performing 凤点头 during a concert. Yes, one of my bridges broke and killed my high C# for the rest of the piece. -.- Please excuse the mistakes - I'm self-taught and not very good! T_T I'm also aware of the synchronisation/tempo problems I have with my pianists, LOL.
P.S: This recording was taken by an audience member and missed out the beginning of the piece!

SYNOPSIS
Composed in 2003, this technically demanding concerto incorporates elements of both Western and Chinese music, fusing contemporary compositional techniques with elements of Chinese opera music. In fact, the Chinese title of the piece - "Feng Dian Tou" - refers to a drumming pattern used in the "martial" style of Peking opera.
The piece is highly rhythmic, featuring acrobatic leaps and runs. The atmosphere created is unique and intense, and showcases the yangqin's dynamism and virtuosity.
