Let me start by saying I freakin love this song.. Papa Roach is amazing. As for you, I really love your gritty, almost growling tone..it's so original. I have to say that certain notes in the intro sounded like you were straining (like "weakness", "scars" and "tear")..but once you got into the verse, which was lower, you sounded much better. I'd say find songs that are better suited to your range because your natural voice is great!

brooke is right, the gritty thing is pretty much all you got going on, so dont get full of yourself if you try out they are going to say the same thing
