This movie has the film noir visual look of "Sin City" mixed with the campy and over-the-top scripting from "Batman & Robin."

this movie is visually beuatiful and the score is amazing but the script is as you exspect like a comic and it has no story but i adorn it

I would have preferred Cooke's version too, rather than a Sin City remix. What happened to Central City? It's screaming because Miller took all the color out.

Sin City did not invent noir. And also, I've read the Spirit...Sin City was just a more violent version of it, and part of Frank Miller's influence.
