One of the biggest new features of Google+ is Hangout. Drawing a lot of inspiration from Skype in Hangouts you can have up to a 10 person group video chat that will automatically switch between people depending on who is talking. In addition you can also watch YouTube videos together as a group.

I'm having diffuculty downloading the hangout/plugin. Would it be best 2 disable something, or switch 2 G chrome as my homepage, as opposed 2 the Yahoo, which I crrently have as my homepage?

Any advice on this matter would be appreciated

Being able to mute others on Hangout could be quite useful. For example, someone could have loud background noise that's preventing others from hearing the conversation.
