I used to visit this zoo as a kid in the 60s...there was an african elephant called winky back then...I'd heard years later that he had to be destroyed because he had dragged someone into his enclosure and killed him/her...any truth to that?

No Siberian Tigers (or any tigers, for that matter) anymore. And I am not a Madosin native, so I have no clue about the elephant story.
