  • great job ! much better than the current Monkees

  • I had to understand, that's my son :)

  • yes and no.......on the Monkees show, Nesmith is shown "playing" that part and that is why I made the reference and tamiscard understood.

The first season TV version had Glen Campbell playing the musical bridge. The single version was released in early 1968 in defiance of the Monkees' protests concerning their creative control. This version, recorded on December 26, 1967 featured Louie Shelton and Gerry McGee on guitar. Which of them played the famous interlude is up for debate.

  • He's playing a show this friday at the vera project in seattle center. They are doing "the Who"

  • Really? are there any other videos of Kyle on here?

  • That's Kyle Morrison 13 years old

  • The Glen Campbell part actually :)

  • who is playing that lead guitar...doing the Mike Nesmith part????

  • as a monkees fan all I can say is thanks for keeping the music alive, and "save the texas prraire chicken" = mr. dobolina mr. bob dobolina - and dont forget, nevermind the futhermore the plea is self defense.
