Please read this for info/sheet music!

I just checked my comments for the first time in YEARS since I first posted the video. To answer simple questions:
I was 17 when I recorded this, this was indeed inside my house and the view is my backyard (I am blessed with a beautiful view!) I have been playing piano since I was 5 soo I am currently at (hopefully) an advanced level. I was NOT naked while filming hahaha.. thats gross. My piano is a Yamaha but it is slightly out of tune.. my apologies. I also usually do not mess up when playing, but when I was recording, I got really nervous and kept screwing up.. This was my 10th take and though I did mess up, my fingers were tired and stiff and I just posted it anyways. I hope to make a tutorial WHEN I have time, but since I am a bio major at UCI, I don't have much time on my hands to play/make videos :(

And lastly, THANK YOU to all the people who viewed and who commented such sweet things on this video! It means the world to me. It really warms my heart to read your comments! Have a great day! :)

  • awesome job! but try to keep your fingers curved more! like there was a mouse under your hand. thats what my piano teacher told me to do. and ive been playing for 11 years and it helps! GREAT GREAT JOB: )))))))) awesome dynamics. MORE!

  • @usagisinc omg i know right? my teacher always slapped my hands for always playing with my fingers straight!!

  • hey can you marry me please.

  • @skateplanbboard okay when and where?

  • What level would you say this song was? Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced?

  • @4evapyro I would say the piece could be played by a beginner but the emotion could only be captured by intermediate/advanced. I'm really not that good though.. this took quite a bit of practice. And as you can see, I still messed up at the end because I was THAT nervous!

  • @usagisinc sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesnt. it just depends on the length of the fingers. if you have long fingers, keep them curved, but it you have short fingers like me, sometimes you cant always keep them straight and i still play beautifully. i've been playing for 16 years.

  • beautiful piano sound ! and you played really well !! :)

  • @eyewristchin my teacher always slapped my hands too, and I cried :'( but now I'm think I'm a good pianist :D

  • Whatever your fingers are doing, it's no obstacle to your superb musicality. Neither melodramatic nor timid, your playing exudes a strength both cheerful and elegant, which is just what the movie was going for.

  • Fabulous!! xx Love this song!!

  • This a beautiful performance of a truly inspiring piece, I loved it.

  • I luv your hair *v*
