On 25 March 2007, evangelical Christians distributed a new anti-Mormon video to thousands of homes across the United States. Though it purports to be an objective Christian evaluation of the teachings, history, and beliefs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it contains much that is inaccurate and very little that is balanced. Rather than focus on what they believe, the video's producers have taken it upon themselves to describe and interpret LDS beliefs and teachings, often in ways that would be objectionable or unrecognizable to Latter-day Saints. Have found out lately that the anti-mormon crowd is really helping us . I have a Elder in my Ward now that had a preacher who started speaking against the Church . The guy and his Mom thought to themselves '' That doesn't sound like the Mormons we know and they couldn't be the people they are if they believed what the preacher is telling us they do . So they investigated the Church about 7 years ago and now he is on his mission in NC . A great guy so lengthen your stride antis.

God does curse my friend.In fact the whole of Christianity says we are all cursed bcos of Adam.Even the New Born Child.Go figure.

yep I can tell of the same experience.Having served a mission myself had a Priest from anothr denomination who went about spreading all sorts of Lies about us.The effect on the local community had the exact opposite to the Priests intention to misrepresent and destroy.He lost alot of his fold to the truth.So I say thank you to all anti LDS out ther.Keep up the great work.LOL

The Washing and Anointing ceremony these anti-Mormons try to call occult was in fact practiced by early Christians. Goes to prove that Joseph Smith really did restore ancient Christian practices. And there's no doubt about it, because proof exists. Look up Cyril of Jerusalem's Cathechetical Lectures, specifically his 23rd one. Ironically for Evangelicals who call us fake Christians, Cyril notes that only after partaking of the Washing and Anointing can people truly call themselves Christians.

@thegarett3 I think they left because they couldn't live up to the teachings. It is so much easier to believe that all you have to do is say, "I believe in Jesus," and you will be saved. That would be so easy, but I don't believe Jesus went through all that pain and suffering so that we could do anything we want and make a claim of belief and be magically saved.
