The Bronze Horseman is the main theme here - both footage of the famous statue and a recitation of the prologue to the famous poem by Pushkin inspired by the statue.

To my friend who wanted to know how Philip Larkin sounded - we are priviledged here in our youtube community to have this:

Which contains the *only* extant recording of Larkin reading his own work.

Unfortunately, that's something we don't have for the other '-kin' poet, a kindred spirit from a very different era, namely Pushkin.

There's always Michelle Malkin, but she's more like poetry in motion, of course...
