@turkenlegoflims (continued) they were labelled the Four Sisters because people going out on their boats onto Lake Ontario in bad weather, fog etc could easily identify the four smoke stacks in and find their way back to safety/ shore. The boats in the front are part of a Marina so people could easily find their way back into the docks by following/ going to the "Four Sisters" that stood out in contrast to the regulary buildings etc along the shore.

@turkenlegoflims they were old smoke stacks for a coal buring power plant on the shore of Lake Ontario in the west end of Toronto Ontario Canada. The large building in the back is where the turbines, piping systems etc were located that were also demo. (continue)

Now THAT is what a professional demolition sounds like! Anyone who claims they "heard" demo explosions at the WTC on 9/11 should watch this. One of the most amazing parts of watching demos is the incredible sound it makes. I was several kilometers away from the Calgary General Hospital demolition, but when the sound hit it almost deafened us. Even the best fireworks displays sound weak and feeble compared to demolition charges.
