My partner and I were coming back from dinner tonight watching the sun set behind the bridge and he said 'there is no place like this on earth-magic happens here' and he was right. You video really captures the city essence-I live here-but if I didn't this would make me feel homesick like hell! great to finish with Peggy Lee!

This is a wonderful video, and I love in particular the noirish quality of the opening music and the reminder that from "The Maltese Falcon" on, the city has been a second home for crime novelists and film adaptations of their work. I also love the sea lions... when I lived out there I would take my mother to see them squawking on the piers - she grew up in Oakland, and used to take the ferry over just to see them.

Thank you so much for this tremendous tribute to a place I love.

This is a perfect showcase for The City. I grew up in Fremont, then moved to Powell St. for 11 wonderful years. I now live in Wichita, KS with the man of my dreams! Next summer, I want my two loves to meet. "Mike, this is San Francisco"!
