I'm not sure if Sotomayor is right for the Supreme Court. A lot of her rulings were overturned.

I was on active duty with the U S Army from May 9, 1955-April 10, 1958. Since that time I have not had a need to fire an arm of any calibre. I have never believed that I had a RIGHT to carry or fire an arm outrside of the organized violence we call armed forces. I did not defend the right of any individual citizen to 'keep and bear arms' as a personal initiative. Anyone wishing to fire an arm can go the the sands of Iraq and get in some action. Talking about arms from the front porch is bull.
