Gojira (Godzilla 1954) had human drama too. I don't find this human drama in the movie bad, since many films (like Godzilla 1998) have bad and boring characters, so this is good. Also, its great they are using actors that can ACT, like Bryan Cranston, Aaron-Taylor Johnson, and her. The 1998 film also had bad acting (Maria Pitillo, who played Audrey, got the Worst Actress award at the Razzies), so this is also good. My only concern is kids starring in the movie, which they are looking for now.

I thought the picture that was taken of Godzilla from the Comic Con trailer looked like the one from Toho's film ''Always 2'' which has a clip of Godzilla in CGI.

It just looked slightly more detailed an gritty.

The one of the broken/shattered city an buildings looked great, it reminds me a lot of a apocalyptic atmosphere which the Godzilla franchise has been missing for about a decade.

What do you think about the picture in the comic-con teaser?

I'd be okay with that, I'm sure most peoples fears including my own will be put at ease once the trailer is released but i was one of the few hyped up an entire year prior to the 98 films release an well i don't want to go threw that disappointment again.

I'm sure Gareth Edwards wont disappoint, an Legendary Pictures has a pretty solid record. So this Godzilla will probably stay true to its 1954 nuclear roots.

What she means by human drama is the soldier going home after the war in Iraq/Alfghanistan to see his wife(Olsen) and step-dad(Cranston) only to encounter Godzilla and tries to survive and see his family before it's too late. At least that's my take.
