@QonOUTview Ellen Wheeler's Karen was only on about 6mths (maybe exactly, as in a 6 mth contract) Seemed to me maybe the producers had the idea to have Stewart fall for his Cindy's 'lookalike' sister (not twin, IIRC) only to abandon it before it got very far along.
Maurice Benard's Nico, Lauren Holly's Julie, (a couple more I can picture but can't recall by name)... Part of a set of 'teenagers' AMC had back then that, storywise, worked well for a while.

Karen Parker (who was Cindy Parker Chandler's sister) took Adam Jr. Tad eventually found the baby and handed Karen off to the police then left humming a cop show tune...
