it is a 75g tank with a 50g sump with an H&S A150-F2001 skimmer and i never had a problem with nitrates. there are 2 tangs, a trigger and a few small fish that I don't believe dont add as much to the bioload as bigger fish. my tank also has a refugium which helps with nutrient export
