I've read that being tickled triggers a response in the nervous system to laugh in humans out of fear; much like the sensation of a spider crawling on you. It just makes you feel vulnerable.
For animals, instead of laughing, they respond to the nervousness... So my bet is that he is more scared.
No way that a simple touch can harm an animal at all.
Please, does that camel look that frail to you? Stop kidding yourself.
