In NYC, we all know that the news are shot in studios, and the news room is away from the studios... Take a tour of 30 Rock.... You will see everything... We don't need a big news room when we have direct access to NBC News! We get live feeds with back/forth dialog between Brian Williams and Chuck/Sue or whoever... Same as the Today show... You don't get that @ WTVJ!
Also, don't get me started with the new nbcnewyork[dot]com It looks like crap! Whoever designed the banner ID, I just want to gag! It's disgusting! Anyone wants to place a bet that WNBC will die within a year?
I'd betcha WTVJ has the largest newsroom in the NBC O&Os, probably with WCAU and KNBC being the second. WNBC's just looks like a small market newsroom, (oh I mean "content center"! ) in the largest market. I'd bet this small newsroom is a dead sign that everything is going to be done on the Web, with very little viewers cause they were turned off by the the change that wasn't broken therefore didn't need to be fixed.
its not called a "content center," it's called a news room. lol jk
the reporters, are able to clip notes to the camera before going on the air.
again, as an attempt with these cameras, not a bad idea but i don't get why at a flagship station. why not WTVJ where they have such a large newsroom to play around with (then again, that station went for sale and is no longer)
First time I had seen someone report from the "content center". Very lazy, and those cams can't have a teleprompter on one, so how can they read while doing a report, since most anchors/reporters can't adlib because they are so used to reading everything from the prompter!

i ran into that font once when trying to find fonts. not impressive. their "beta" template and logo was just fine the way it is.
