F22 Raptor High Speed Pass at an air show at Holloman AFB NM. I was working the airshow on Airfield Sweeper, so I got to see the whole three day event.

@chunksteray what do you mean the f-22 can't do more than half of what its designed to do? It shows almost everything it has besides its weapons demonstration at air shows every year. The only problem its having is its oxygen problem and they have made less cause there isn't a need for them. We haven't seen an enemy that the a-10, f-16 or f18 can't handle and until then why waste them. Plus we have the f-35 coming out in 2016 that you guys are getting a portion of so why worry about it.

Us Brits have mostly used our own European aircraft, and I think the F-35 Lightning II will be the first U.S. built fighter (note I said built, not designed as it's a JSF and designed by several nations). Sad we didn't get to buy any F-22 Raptors, but the U.S. wouldn't sell any, and it's no surprise since even after the Eurofighter Typhoon was created, the F-22 is still the most advanced jet fighter. One of the reasons the F-117 was removed was because the F-22's stealth outmatched it.

lol fair play you yanks get so bitter and as for the f-22 listen to your own generals theres a report out in the usa this month saying the f-22 is the biggest white elephant of modern times it cant do half it was designed to do and is falling apart already and at the mo cant fly above 20,000 feet because the pilots pass out why do you think they have made less than 200 out of an order for over 800 because its going to cost so much to fix the problems buy the typhoon its a better aircraft lol

Arrogant, ignorant minds that don't understand a lick about the rest of the world, and when they think they do, it's always the United States fault. Such as, if Russia launched a nuke right now on India, the first think you brit politicians would do is stab the U.S. with a pencil for it. You know, because it's all our fault.

The fact that an Englishman from Great Britiain worked out the design for the original jet engine, it probably makes your blood boil to know that we made it fly, in all the best ways possible, over all countries. We still are too. The F22 is the most advanced and efficient fighter plane ever built to this day. Get over it you British troll. That's also what I don't understand. All we do is save the world from disaster with open arms, and we're hated the most.
