Cutting and Editing Photos and Videos with trakKutter in trakAxPC Pro (Part 2)

In this second video on trakKutter, we are going to show you some new features that we have introduced when editing videos and photos. To select an area of a video you wish to sample, hold down the SHIFT key and while holding down the left button on your mouse, drag across to make your selection. Just to note, when videos and photos are in the trakKutter, the "Snap to Grid" feature is defaulted to off, allowing for more precise editing of your media clip.

How do i cut out the selected part of the file?

When I placed GIF or PNG files(that supports transparent backgrounds[not white]) into the mixing windows, Trakax still shows that white background, even though I deleted them using photoshop.

Or is there any way that Trakax can edit the pictures. Either I couldn't find the tutorial or I probably wasn't paying enough attention during the tutorial.

Please help.

@L3irus Hi, unfortunately the current version of trakAxPC does not support transparent PNG's or Gif's. We will be supporting them in the new update which is due very shortly and is free to paid users. Check out our blog on our website to see some of the new features in the next update. I took a short video with my iPhone and want to convert a part of it to a photo. Can that be done, either by just using the iPhone or do I have to download a program that will accomplish that?
