@Mahnannon Both are difficult in their own ways, but I recall the hardest part of raiding 40 man encounters were getting the people online. The encounters themselves, with some exceptions like C'Thun and Naxxramas bosses were relativly simple once your raid were able to handle them.

Organization was key - wheras now, with the higher standard of servers/computers, the raids can be alot more complex. Whilst 40 mans were difficult, I would still say that 25 mans draw very close in some areas.

@Mahnannon yes i did 40 man raids i quit wow though. and 25 man raids is harder. and im not talking about those easy pug raids as 8 first bosses in icc 25 and 10. im talking about heroic hard mode raids. the only thing that made the old raids hard where the fact that blizz couldent afford good servers so everyone had like a second delay time. on bad days. which made people incable of raiding. i have my old naxx 40 man gear in my bank, but quit wow. over 4 months ago.

@Pretbcplayer what do you know about 40 man raids. ?? first a privat server is probably not gonna be anything like a real server. and 2nd 25 man wotlk raids is ALOT harder than old school 40 man raids. the only reason why old school raids were hard was because blizzard didnt have strong enough servers.. now 20-50 latency is standard. back then 400-700 was normal!

25 naxx sucks, try 40 man old school naxx on Feenix 1.12 and then claim something... I bet you can't kill a single boss there lol
