@Ciferz yes the info definitely is still needed thank you :) I just wonder if the strings are too far apart for my taste, making soloing and sweeping more difficult... have to get my hands on one of these to try it out.

@chris602 thanks for the detailed answer. The only thing that is keeping me back from buying it is that the strings look so far apart. I'm playing a BC Rich IT Beast at the moment on which the strings are fairly close allowing sweeping and soloing with little effort. Do you find the strings being far apart for a metal guitar?

@Tangakkai Dunno if you still need the info, but this guitar will definitely be perfect for Amon Amarth and In Flames, those bands use Gibson brand guitars and the PRS Torero is definitely heavier than what they use.
For Death metal or the heavy styles of metal I think a Jackson or Caparison or whatever is better. I'd pick this guitar though since overall it is just great.

HAHA and it's like you're not even TRYING!
You're like, "Yeah, I can fucking shred/do anything with my eyes closed. No big deal."

awesome guitar dude and playing
Great playing! how has the PRS torero been for you? Is it good also to play heavier styles of metal (e. g. Amon Amarth, In Flames, etc...)?

@Tangakkai
The PRS has been great, I've not had a single problem with it :) I did regret buying it at first but once you get used to how it plays and feels I think it'll definately be a benchmark guitar for future purchases!
This guitar will handle pretty much any metal styles you throw at it, the EMG pickups really make it scream, even playing clean riffs it sounds great with the right EQ setting on your amp etc :)
