SPEED READING: A HOW-TO (VIDEO) WITH JAMES

If you have a lot of reading in a short amount of time, to do for a class or general researching, SPEED READING may be the answer for you.

We learned this technique in Bible School.

This is not "skimming", but actual reading (for comprehension).

@light18girl As far as "intense" comprehension, I would suggest one or more of the following: [A] read SLOWER and focus on each word, [B] UNDERLINE important nouns and verbs, etc., as you read, [C] make NOTES in the white spaces next to imporant comments/information, and/or [D] read ALOUD (to yourself, or quietly if someone is in the room with you).
