Some clips from Rolf's Cartoon Club (1987 to 1992), with guests Charlie Mills and Terry Brain from CMTB Animation. Terry explains how they animate the character Eat Yer Greens from Stoppit & Tidyup.

Charlie brings along various Trap Door animation models, including the Giant Flying Sponge, Berk and the Splund. He shows how the lip animation of the models is synchronised to the pre-recorded voices, using a computer. He also talks briefly about how they started creating animations.

  • @cupcakefairy87 lol it was Terry Wogan XD

  • Wow... the nostalgia is overwhelming.

  • The narrator on Stoppit and Tidy-Up sounds like Terry Wogan.

  • all the cartoons the kids made were rubbish , they should've been told.

  • @danhero2 Cheers! No idea, worth looking in to. I also feel the need to stick on Lemmings again.

  • @Ornsack Yeah i'd checked your page after my posting. You have some funny material there man. Nice work.

Yeah i'd love to see the Lemmings ep again, Gary Timmons was the animators name, wonder what became of him?

  • @danhero2 It was my favourite show even before I ended up on it, and I'd probably still regard it highly if it was on now! In fact I want to see the Lemmings episode you speak of RIGHT NOW. Ended up doing live action stuff (hence my YouTube account!). My dad has far more patience ;)

  • @Ornsack That's cool man. What an inspirational show this was. Been nothing like it since, a real shame. it was great that they brought people from the industry into the studio. There was a great ep with the animator from the lemmings game.

Did you follow your dad into the animation business?

  • @217hman - Really? wow

  • @CoolDudeClem - yes i agree especially the size of Berk when i thought he was smaller than that lol
