Not rarely,
The genius in a band are the key players combined with the players who are able to bring out the best in them.
Alice in Chains was a TON of band.
Great material. Best vocal efforts ever to come out of the grunge scene.

@chemicalJK gee, what a suprise you'd say that... yaaawn. thanks for the lesson too. i had no idea. neither what's the name of the song, nor the lyrical content, nor that layne was battling addiction. you seriously think this is what layne wanted? to have a bunch of morons brag about their drug use? the saddest thing is how you all are bragging about it, like you think it's cool. get grip, get a life and why not comment on the music for a change? oh, and F U too!

@onkel44lekno we are on a song called "junkhead" recorded by a band whose frontman was a drug addict and dead from drugs and most of their songs talk about self destruction...i think it is pretty suitable to have these kinds of discussions here...and even if it wasnt, we live in a "free" world.. who the fuck are u to tell anyone what to say or not? fuck u!

i'm old...and broken. i was 24 when i heard this song, i live 60 miles from Seattle..if you want to know what the "Seattle" scene was about then listen. hard as fuck. ask yourself why modern bands can't tough this kind of heaviness...reality...truth... anymore. you are being robbed.
