Look at the fear in the eyes of Bill, No one - NO ONE is allowed to question Israel on anything! This has been ingrained in us as Americans from birth. I don't see the conflict as Israel vs Palestine. I see it as Hamas trying to destroy Israel vs Israel trying to suppress (and oppress) Palestine for as long as they can.

Demolition of Bedouin villages in the Negev, ethnic cleansing throughout the West Bank and the Galilee, "loyalty" laws targeted at Arabs, separate funding for Arab and Jewish schools, the list goes on. And Israel's track record on LGBTQ rights means nothing as Palestinian LGBTQ people are still denied basic human rights by Israel. Google "Adalah" and "Association for Civil Rights in Israel" (ACRI).

@thatsmyrail But the religious fundamentalism isn't forced on its people. Israel is home to more religions and ethnic groups than just the Jews, and these groups live there without violent conflict. The state is only Jewish by title.

I would argue that America is more religiously fundamental towards its people than Israel (gay rights, women's rights to her body, slack on the separation between church and state).
