45 seconds... might as well have been 10 seconds. Most of the shots they used were from the last 2 years of the show....that's 4% of the show's life. The amount of time they spent on this montage shows you how much they respect the history of GH. Past anniversaries were celebrated with great panache. Remember the one where they launched Faces of the Heart? From greatness to mediocrity...that's the new history of General Hospital.

What a piece of crap. No Steve and Audrey? No Phil and Jessie? Where's Edward and Robert? Wow, Jill-Farren Phelps couldn't spend a little more money to include the following people I mentioned in the tribute.

Wait, this soap has been around for 45 years, but they only used less than a handful 80's clips? I read that GH dominated the top spot of soap operas throughout the 80's (except for 1989). They could of thrown in some 70's clips too.

where was Sam breaking down in the nursery with Jason?
where was Brenda shower scene?
where were the B/W old scenes?
too much new stuff and too much recent crap that we all know about..this was supposed to be a celebration of the PAST, not the present

crap: no scenes from laurelton storyline, sword of malkuth, natalie dearborn, dvx, the alien shaun cassidy, monica's breast cancer, robert and holly, etc...

No Edward, No Robert, No Amy, No Sean, No Tiffany. Many vets MIA or one short scene, but of course, no shortage of Sonny...GAG ME! This was total crap and a disgrace to the history of the show and the veteran actors who made it great...back when it was a great show, which was a long time ago! Thanks to TPTB, GH has turned into The Faux Sopranos. It's a shame, especially the killing off of the Quartermaines, one of the foundations of GH.

Gee, a whole 45 seconds to celebrate 45 years. What a crock. Guess they couldn't bring themselves to cut a few minutes away from Carly or Sonny in order to do something properly.
