The LED was already dead, anyway. Please don't try this yourself, the LED can easily build up enough pressure to explode and shoot shrapnel across the room!

@autoobist Ever think about the CCD chip in the camera? Hmm? Seen how their fair against that sort of light? Eh? Considered the fact that maybe the lens concentrates as much light as is entering onto the CCD chip, risking cooking it?

@castagnola007 i did it with a 9 volt battery and it popped... i just put the 2 legs of the led on it one after the other and then after a slitsecond... BANG just amazing :D
