Why do some hairstylist say "training your hair"? I never understand that.

Anyone know where I can get sponge rollers where the plastic is one piece? They used to hold, but now they always snap apart when you try to roll your hair.

what product does she use to protect your hair from humidity?

I read through at least 3 pages of comments to try and find an answer to another's question which I am also wondering. I do not live in NY either and could go to your stylist. I really wish I could. She ask, what product your stylish use to help to do your press n curl & how it holds in the hot and humid weather.

Thank you for writing and watching!
My stylist is Annunciata of Gi'Amor's (393 Lenox Avenue) between 129th and 130th streets in Harlem. It's a small shop, she is the owner and a perfectionist. She'll work with it until it lays down! I just got mine done last week- still looks fresh.
Tell her Ms. Black sent you. Her number is: 212-410-9334.
My best,

how do u cleanse it? wouldnt it get greasy??
sara207 3 years ago
No, black hair is typically very dry and need to be replenished with oils as time goes on. European hair tends to get oily and needs to be cleansed regularly to avoid greasiness. And of course, there's everything in between...:-)
