Beethoven's sonata in E major op 14 performed on a 1810 square piano that was manufactured by Wilkinson & Wornum in London England between 1811-1812. The company was first established in 1811 and burned down to the ground in 1812 making it easy to date this piano. During the fire, the entire neighborhood assisted the piano shop to save the inventory, this piano being one of the pianos saved.

  • Cool piano, but I wonder if Beethoven would thing this piano is loud enough for him lol

  • Great! Early pianos aren't as full sounding as modern ones, but are perfect for early piano music. Beethoven would have heard this "sound" as HE played.

  • oh holy wow!!!! :D THAT IS EPIC :D
