The way we make evvverything a delicacy over here, a tin of mushy peas would probably cost $3-5!!! 8~o

Oooh not something I would give a baby, most shops put some sort of lurid green dye in. I don't think I ever pureed peas for my kids when they were babies, not one I thought of! Cheers, Lesley

We do not eat mushy peas in the US. I can't imagine I would like it, as I don't like them unmushed. My daughter says tell you she has eaten them...as baby food. hehehe :-) Lisa

We did enjoy them with fish, chips and vinegar - out of the paper on the seafront. That meal is one of my faves. Cheers, Lesley

Fish 'n' chips 'n' peas. A big mug of tea. A slice of bread and butter. Heaven!

Gourmet food has it's place, but this sort of food is just great. We ate from the paper looking out at the docks at Felixstowe with the summer weather lashing the car and the windows steaming up. Perfect. Cheers, Lesley
