An explanation of the Two Shahadahs - Part 1 - Yasir Qadhi

The first portion of the shahadah is examined with special emphasis on the branches of tauhid, the differences between shirk and kufr, it's blessings and conditions, and acts that go against the kalimah. The second portion of the shahadah is also examined regarding the correct and appropriate respect and understanding of the Prophet's status in Islam. The lecture is done in Sheikh Yasir's eloquent style with many examples, supporting evidences, and linguistic definitions. Class outline can be downloaded for notes.

About the Speaker:

Abu Ammaar Yasir Qadhi was born in Houston, Texas, but completed his primary and secondary education in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, after which he was accepted as a student a the Islamic University of Madinah. After completing a diploma in Arabic, he graduated with a B.A. from the College of Hadith and Islamic Sciences. He holds an M.A. in Islamic Theology (Aqeedah) from the College of Dawah at the University. Currently he is the instructor at Al-Maghrib Institute and has published such works as: Riyaa: Hidden Shirk; An Introduction to the Sciences of the Qur'aan; Asmaa bint Abee Bakr (booklet); Safiyyah bint Abd al-Muttalib (booklet); and other works.

This guy may have several degree but Allah has not blessed this guy, his speach is his openion he has not learned under a sheikh. this is the first Bidha and getting degree from university is another bidha so watch out brother.

Atheism was wide spread in 5th century BC in India where people started to become Jains and Buddhists...... they denied in the creator God until Hinduism came back, only because of Islam. Probably.
