PIAA SILICONE WIPERS
I know what you're thinking, where are the wipers?
Well I'm really showing the effects of the wiper in the glass. This is after about a month of no rain, triple digit temperatures, and occasional windshield wiper use. What silicone blades do is coat the glass with a thin layer of silicone that repeals water causing it to bead up readily. In most of the video the highest speed I attain is 50mph, which is more than enough to force the water to roll off the glass. Granted that this is not a downpour but the results are similar. On the freeway they work even better. They also seem to last much longer. The ones in the video are about 8 months old under Texas sun and they seem to perform the same way they did new. On another vehicle I had a set almost two years old. Never had any standard or premium rubber blades last that long before they started to crack and streak.

  • Waste of time.

  • @OhNoPaypal This video is intended to show the after effects of using the silicone wipers for prolonged time, not necessarily the wipers moving back and forth.

  • Been thinking about getting these! Wasn't sure if I believed "will leave a silicon coating so the water beads" however you proved they work! Thanks a lot!
