I once listened to the koto version of this music.
If I remember correctly, there were two parts of koto
One part produces a higher sound and the other produces a lower sound.
I especially like the part where the koto player in charge of lower sound sometimes moves over and leans forward in order to put pressure on the string with the bridge far away from herself.
