I personally think it is elegant and amazing !!! I have always loved Alphaville since I was a geeky teenager growing up in the '80s in a small American town where sophistocated european sounding music with synthesisers was QUITE UNPOPULAR. I always put them right up with bands like New Order, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Depeche Mode and many other brilliant pioneers of "electronic" music. This one is less electronic [sounding] w/ video reminiscent of silent film era SMASHING !!! Geniuses !!!

I love this song. Since the breathtaking blue was only my 2nd Alphaville album, I was able to appreciate both their synthesizer and acoustically based music.
