Myself lysergicaddict and several others I have conversed with, truly believe smoked 5-MeO-DMT to be the ultimate entheogen. It cuts to the chase, and it is difficult to not be successful in attaining a true union with god. Other plants and molecules may very well do the same in certain situations for certain individuals, but 5-MeO-DMT has a reputation for faithfully bringing travelers beyond any of their expectations, and into the all knowing all encompassing heart of god. 5-MeO-DMT is notorious for bringing hard core atheists and material reductionists to their knees laughing and crying, praising "god".

I've heard mention by many people (Terence McKenna included) that when you break through on a DMT trip, there isa popping sound. The sound is described to be similar to popping bubble wrap. Interestingly, there is a common description by those experiencing an OBE (out-of-body) experience as hearing a loud "pop" sound. Are these two experiences related? The DMT trip seems to very well be an OBE, however the experience appears to differ from non-chemically induced OBE states.

the one final point to make is that simply by asking "who am i?" and "what makes me who i am?", you should come to the realization that no-one actually has a constant self or identity that transcends their interactions with everything and everyone else who forms a part of their lives. even when you make your own decisions, you do so for reasons outside your own control. i hope that made sense, i'm not too good with articulating words to reach specific conclusions.

I have also read alot into various entheogens, and have heard alot about how with salvia, one is detached from their ego, and how with 5-meo-dmt the user may experience the void. I am also aware people have taken both together, although not in large enough doses to reach both of those effects. Just something to think on. Sorry about all these comments, I have 1 more thing to note.

That was a good podcast. I thought I would note that my "epiphany", or whatever you want to call it, came a year ago as I was reading 2 books by carl johan calleman. It did for me what 5-meo-dmt did for oroc, in that it turned me from atheism to having a more firm belief in some divine purpose, regardless of how much of it could be labelled new age pseudoscientific bunkum.

I've done LSD shrooms PCP salvia datura but never any DMT. Im going to buy me a toad and experience this wonderful substance when you have tripped you know the drug war is full of shit and all about money
