I loved the financial advisor at the end. What a GREAT guy. Taking a very difficult thing and wanting to turn it into something positive.

I, too, have been scammed for a lot of money and it's awful. Sometimes the only healing that can come will be when you put your efforts into making things right. Bless them all. Very classy people. Unlike so many of you on this thread.

I feel for these people and pray they get justice. What so many of you don't realize that fraud/theft hurts us ALL. It leads to financial instability and lack of trust in the system which leads to less prosperity for all. Also, it doesn't matter if someone was poor or had something...if they have been stolen from it is WRONG. And so many of these people lost all they had. Shame on you for having zero compassion. Wait until it happens to you or someone you love.

I admire these people. They are so open and honest, especially the financial planner. I admire how open he was. The teacher's will have their pensions from the state...I feel less sorry for them than the others who totally relied on their Madoff investments purely.
