I don't know why people are giving you a "thumbs down"...you're right on mark. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that you're husband's gonna cheat if he takes "be faithful" out of your marriage vows. Look at Jenny now-a bitter shrew washing what left of her dirty laundry in public so that she "feels better". No thought about her kids what so ever...she had class up until the point she published a book. As for Mark Sanford...he's destroyed his family..what more punishment is there for him?

Jenny Sanford is one of the few politicians wives who actually has a backbone. I applaud her actions. As for the mistress...well, she is one of many gold diggers down there eating dirt sandwiches and looking for a back to ride.

Duh, "faithful" is just a word. Your vows are to be put in action, not just said. By the way, I am a Dem. I've been on both sides of the equation, so I am not here to judge anybody. I am just glad that she chose to leave rather than be further humiliated. She will live her life on her on terms. Sometime we ladies choose to stay for the sake of the marriage or relationship, and all we wind up with is time wasted.
