World Savvy Presents: The Global Youth Media and Arts Festival POWER IN A GLOBAL SOCIETY. Come see how over 300 different youth explore Power in a global society in their local communitites and forge global connections. Youth attend World Savvy workshops on topics such as social revolutions, gender, censorship, ecological footprints, ableism, citizenship, and self power. They took related fieldtrips to art galleries, film screenings, and met and worked with artists who are directly addressing issues of power. Through discussion, experience and cerative expression, youth formed and voiced personal perspectives through new orkds of art and media.
It's going down at the Zeum, 221 Fourth St. @ Howard, San Francisco CA.
Opening day : Friday DEC 7th 6-9PM
Performance: FRI January 18-19 at 6-8PM
