The best thing since sliced bread, Delta Goodrem performs The classic Christmas Carol, 'The Little Drummer Boy', live at The Sydney opera House on Christmas Eve 2009.
I was really impressed to see her playing both piano and acoustic guitar on the night, my my my she has gotten good on the guitar!!
It was a fabulous night and Delta as always performed remarkably well!!
Her vocals In my opinion were the best they have ever been on this night and she definitely has not lost any of her 'Aussieness', interacting with the audience and not showing any arrogance or an ego, but instead reaching out the crowd all night long!
I have to give her credit too for post poning the show, it was originally scheduled for earlier in the month, but she got sick in America and couldn't perform on the night it was meant to be. I really give her credit for still playing the show, the only date available was Christmas Eve and she thanked us for celebrating with her and not being at home with our families, but she was meant to be in Ireland with her friends and family!
To me, that really shows how much of a beautiful and loyal artist she is!
The set list was:

(also sang a bit of hark the herald angels sing)

I'm not sure, I'll have a look, and see if I have it on video, I think she said one was for her mum - but I'm not sure if I'm confused and just remembering how she got her mum to stand up and wave... lol, I'll get back to you on that one!
