amazing player who single-handedly won the Champs League final. he was credited with a Premier League medal too, during his stay with Man United. United made a special request to the FA for a medal to be given to Larsson

People are forgetting that Larsson only played 5 seasons in the SPL, whereas Boyd played 9. Larsson would have easily bypassed Boyd's total if he didn't get injured, or if his first season was still played in the First Division. He scored 159 times for Celtic in 5 seasons in the SPL, and Boyd scored 164 in ten. The argument of "Larsson is a better player, but Boyd is a better goalscorer is now defunkt. End of.
