Beyond Reality - Hell's Kitchen Recap 2/19/09
Last week Ji left because of her sprained ankle. The sous chefs wake up the chefs super early for a field trip to a meat processing plant. Reward challenge - 1 by 1 identify 8 cuts of meat & where they come from on a cow. The men's team wins & gets treated to a private jet ride to a winery & dinner at a steakhouse. The women's punishment is to butcher several sides of beef. This week Hell's Kitchen opens as a steakhouse. The men's & women's team take turns cooking & serving for two hours each. Whichever team serves the most meals wins. Results - worst waiter - Charlie, worst waitress - Lacey, most served - the women's team. The men's two nominees were Charlie & Seth. Charlie is sent home. Next week - Colleen plays cheerleader, the blue team has a meltdown & its the most controversial Hell's Kitchen yet!

Love this show.....Gordon was an idiot though.... They never shoulda eliminated Ji (sp?)....total BS!. Some of these contestants need to watch "Good Eats" with Alton Brown to learn their way around the kitchen. LOL!

Hell's Kitchen was great this time around - I'm glad the boys' lost - some of them definitely needed to go. Though it would have been ok if the girl's lost and Lacey left, lol.

This recap was pretty disappointing because it was so brief. I was really hoping you'd talk more about the Red Team's lunch and Andrea's tirade throughout the whole punishment. You didn't even mention how Lacey annoyed JP during service. Still, nobody hits a homer every time.

BTW, good luck trying to manage THREE recaps next Thursday. I'm sure it'll take a while but we thank you for doing it.
