GOP's J.C. Watts Challenges Republicans: Let's Show the World what America is Supposed to Look Like

Here is video of former GOP Rep. J.C. Watts speaking at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference on April 8, 2010, where he challenged Republicans to join together in the cause of showing the young generation of Americans, and the world, what American exceptionalism is supposed to look like. Watts gave a powerful illustration to make the point that many people have forgotten the principles that made America great, and they are waiting for leadership to show a clear picture of the way things can be and should be.

@MisterRight4prez Oh yeah, who was head of the dixiecrats, you know the one who ran for president as a dixiecrat in 1948? What states did he carry? What happened in 1964 to him and the dixiecrats? I'll tell you, they all became republicans, because a few liberal republicans, LBJ and a majority of liberal democrats passed the civil rights act of 1964. No one from the south voted for it, Dem or Rep, and now the south is all Republican.

I listened to Rush today. He said he plans to leave this country and immigrate to Paraguay or Uruguay. He suggested that all of hte conservatives move down there with him so that they could start a country with real conservative values. He thinks that if they get a critical mass number, the Uruguayans will be grateful for having hard working Americans in theiri country. I think it's a very good idea. I think America is "done" and a waste of time. We can do better as conservatives on our own!
