Producer Johan Andersson has taken time out from his busy development schedule to do a one-off exclusive Q&A session from E3. Paradox fans were given a unique opportunity to put their questions to Johan on all things Hearts of Iron III related. Although there wasnt time to answer all of them due to the sheer volume received, we managed to get answers to the questions that real fans want to know. Why does Johan think Hearts of Iron III is a great and unique game and what makes Hearts of Iron III different from Hearts of Iron II? All this and much more is revealed, plus of course a few exclusives just for the occasion.

Some Hearts of Iron III features revealed in the E3 presentation are:
·Historical Events & Decisions
·Completely new information about deployment.
·Unit control together with automation.
·Details on the new Logistics system.

Hearts of Iron III is now in the Beta stage of development. These last months the team has been stabilizing the foundations of the AI, tightening up the rules and mechanics of the game, along with implementing brand new artwork and interface features.


Game Summary
The third instalment in the critically acclaimed World War II strategy series, Hearts of Iron III will feature a plethora of brand new features to satisfy veteran and novice players alike, including a huge game map with more than 14,000 land and sea provinces. Hearts of Iron III is scheduled for release during the latter half of 2009.

Johan Andersson, the Producer, is on hand at E3 to demonstrate every aspect of the game.

At E3 in Los Angeles the development teams for East India Company and Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim will also be showcasing brand new features on their eagerly anticipated titles.

Alright I lied. Game is playable, but unrealistic at the moment. A lot of work required even to bring it to a point where it would be considered releasable. That said, in its current state, it is the best game ever... Suppose that says a lot about it's potential...

Love the game. Best ever. Needs some work before it is completely up to snuff, but certainly this doesn't distract from the epic nature of the game.

This game is shit!

It's ridicilously hard, tutorial is joke, didn't do any historical research outside wikipedia( exp. no partisans in Yugoslavia), diplomacy sucks, espionage sucks, very laggy, politics are useless feature... OK I would lie that I didn't like new researching, changing laws (insted of whole year) and selling/buying military stuff.

i love hearts of iron 2 but hearts of iron 3 sucks. It is needlessly difficulty. Diplomacy is a mess, so hard to even declare war. Game is even slower than hearts of iron 2. I don't recommend it, play hearts of iron 2 instead
